Chance me Stanford EA, Davis, NYU, USC, Berkeley, and UCSB!

bump! :)

By the way, new Senior Course Load!

(AP) Calculus ab
(AP) Physics I
(AP) Physics II
(AP) United States Government/ (AP) Economics
(AP) Computer Science
(AP) English Literature
(CP) Life Skills/ (CP) Team Sports

AP Psych would be a joke since I’m already self-studying, so I picked up another Physics course!

Also, I forgot to mention a few things in my Extra Curricular that may definitely help me out!

I’m part of Kids Helping Kids, a 501c3, and convincing huge corporations (large theaters, restaurant chains) to join and sponsor (many of which have joined; like McDonalds, Subway, Regency Theaters, El Polo Loco, etc.). Next year, I’m planning to start my own chapter in my city.
I’m the manager of one of the largest magicians in Israel, he moved to the United States, so after contacting him Freshman year, I have been his starting manager. I have found and scheduled over 40 shows for him. I also hold a board position on a portfolio corporation; I help make major decisions.

I know that my grades are lower than the average admitted, that I don’t have more than two worth while awards, that I’m only decent in college leveled Chem (most kids got an A and a 5 in that course), and I got a C Junior year in one of my best subjects. I’m not perfect. But still, for Stanford and Berkeley, could it help that I am going to most likely be one of the only applicants who has legitimately failed a few courses in High School, but worked their way up to a 4.0, and then took 6 AP courses their Junior year (obviously not doing amazing in them), and 7 AP courses Senior Year, along with having at term with a full college schedule, and having some pretty interesting Extra Curriculars? I have a 4.1, so it’s not like they’ll be mortified by my grade point average, and my SAT is relatively high, and I got an 800 in a course that I got a C in!

I just feel as if I belong at Berkeley. Berkeley is the reason why I haven’t dropped out yet. Freshman year summer school English, I had gone on an internet journey to look for colleges that would “accept me.” Berkeley had everything that I wanted in a college that I could never get into. But, upon finding out that they disregard Freshman year, I was motivated to do well. I go to a high ranking public school (average SAT 1870) so it wasn’t necessarily easy to get my 4.0, but I did it and quickly found a love for education. It was almost magical. It felt as if it was meant to be. I graduated middle school with a 1.8 (yet always, somehow, managed to score advanced on my STAR testings) and I set all of those terrible temptations aside. Berkeley is the reason why I am posting this right now. Honestly, if it wasn’t for Berkeley, I wouldn’t be surprised if I would have turned out to be a drop out. I have literally raised my PSAT/SAT score 700 points in one year because of Berkeley.

Thank you so much, all! But please, help me out here! :)
