<p>Chance Me for UC/top colleges and Give any feedback! </p>

<p>Hi, I wanted to know my chances at UCLA, UCB, UCSD, UCD, Princeton, Stanford, and Harvard (a little impractical i know). Planning to major in Biochem area. I would love feedback to improve. Thks in advance! </p>

<p>Note: For Princeton, Stanford, and Harvard, also want to know well i compare to other applicants. </p>

<p>Asian Male (immigrant, came to US at age 5)
live in CA
US citizen now
Goes to competitive public High school (highest in State non magnet public school with 935 API, Top 140ish in US by newsweek)</p>

<p>Academic Stats: </p>

<p>SAT I: first sitiing: CR:700 WR:720 Math:780 (2200)
SAT II: Bio-760 Chem- 780 Math 2C-760
AP: Bio-5 Chem- 5 Stat-5 </p>

<p>Senior classes: AP phyiscs, AP Cal BC, </p>

<p>GPA (soph/jun): 3.83- UW 4.25- W UC GPA- 4.18</p>

<p>no ranking but about top 15% or higher</p>

<p>Community College: chinese (3 years completed) </p>

<p>EC</p>

<p>Badminton Varsity (4 years and 2 year captain)
NCS Badminton 3rd place
Train in Badminton 6 hrs a week for 4 years
Basketball Club for 8 year with placement in various tournments
Piano for 12 years
MTNA State for Piano
CM Advance Level
Chinese Chess Club- 3 years- 2 year Treasurer
Table Tennis Club- 2 years- 2 year VP
American Red Cross- 2 years- 1 year sec
Ultimate Frisbee- 2 years- 1 year Sec </p>

Chinese Culture Camp (for K-6)- 160 hours

Going to submit research paper to Siemen competition</p>

<p>Are you a senior? If so, then your chances for Siemens are over.</p>

<p>I say you have an excellent shot for all the UCs with UCB and UCLA being matches at the most.</p>

<p>HPS will be reaches, of course. Standardized test scores are great, but top 15% isn't, and you application has nothing to make it stand out. Good luck.</p>

<p>You have a shot at the others, though they're probably reaches.</p>

<p>all the UC's will most likely be match schools, but HYPS, i'm pretty sure are going to be very high reaches. nothing out of the ordinary, and your GPA SAT's are only average for those very competitive schools.</p>

<p>Good chances at the UCs, though slight reach at Berkeley. I'd say that you have slim chances at the top ivies, though who knows, you may have a shot.</p>

<p>I came to the US when I was 5, too! Just wondering, are you going to put that in your application anywhere?</p>

<p>It doesn't help that you are asian and not born in the US and that you are good at math and an instrument like every other smart Chinese person...</p>
