Thank you for reading :)
Post a link to your thread if you want me to chance you.

I would say that every university on your list from Berkeley on is a match (my guess is you’re in), but the ones above Berkeley are all reaches. Your EC’s yell “resume padder” and I can’t sense passion (IMO)…good luck!

Yeah, I guess my ECs are kinda scattered, aside from music. Probably my weak point.

Thanks for the feedback!

@IncognitoUser See my reply on your thread :)

Wow, your record’s really impressive. As long as you elaborate on your ECs (you seem to hold a lot of leadership positions so I think you are quite passionate) I think you’ll be fine.

MIT - Mid-reach
Stanford - Reach
U Penn - Reach
Brown - Reach
Columbia - Reach
UC Berkeley - Match
Johns Hopkins - Match
UCLA - Match
USC - Low match
UCSD - Safety

You’ve put together what appears to be a pretty strong resume. Your ECs do lack focus, but I don’t think that that’ll absolutely ruin your chances anywhere. The Ivies, Stanford, and MIT are all obviously reaches, but the rest of the schools on your list are solid and I think you have a good shot at those. Thanks for chancing me and good luck!

MIT - High Reach
Stanford - High Reach
U Penn - Mid-High Reach
Brown - Mid Reach
Columbia - Mid Reach
UC Berkeley - Match
JHU - Match
USC - Match
UCSD and UCLA - Safeties

What’s going to hurt you the most is the lack of unique EC’s and focus in the EC’s that you have right now. Also, most of the things you do fall into the typical Asian category (I’m Asian too =]). A couple of internships at reputed locations in the field you wish to pursue would have been an added benefit because a majority of your competitors will have them.

MIT,Stanford, and the ivies are reaches for ANYONE. But you have a very competitive GPA so I say that you would make a highly competitive applicant to any of those places! And as for all of the UCs, USC and JH, I’d say that you are highly likely to be accepted! And are you applying EA anywhere? I would suggest MIT or Stanford, the most competitive of the bunch. Hope this helped! chance me back? :)
