I applied early action on September 22 with an ACT of 31 and a weighted gpa of 4.366 out of 4 applying for a Statistics major any idea what my chance is of getting my decision during the first round mid November? Am I in a good position to be getting in at all?
Yeah good shot…
Assuming your HS course load was reasonably rigorous, I would say your chances are excellent. I am a stats PhD, by the way. Excellent choice of major! You will never be without a job.
Does your school have Naviance? Are you in-state? Our Naviance shows your GPA to be solidly within the accepted range. ACT is also within range.
In terms of the first round of acceptances, that seems tough to predict. At the latest, you should hear by mid-December.
