At UF, 50% of admissions is based on GPA (most important), class rigor (did you take the toughest courses available at hour high school), and test scores (least important of the three).

50% of admissions is based on ECs, leadership, volunteer and work experience. The essay also matters at UF, so don’t stress out about it, but do put some effort into it.

You have until the end of December to get any updated scores to UF. If you haven’t taken the ACT before, you should at least plan on re-taking the SAT, you really want to improve by a few points.Your GPA is fine, as is class rigor. Your EC’s also look fine for UF. UF doesn’t use AP test scores for admissions (only for course credits).

The application is due by Nov 1’st. You’ll have to complete the SAR, so get a copy of your transcripts from school and use that info to fill it out. You don’t send a transcript to UF, unless you’ve been accepted, instead they use the SAR.

Also, apply for housing now (reserve). I think you have to pay $25 to reserve a slot.

Good Luck!
