"Chance Me": SUNY Binghamton, Skidmore, LeHigh, SUNY New Paltz, Colgate, BC, F&M

Hey!
First off, I am NOT FROM THE MIDWEST. I am using my mother's account. I live in New York City.
Chance as many or as few as you feel like.
I'm looking at:
* SUNY Binghamton
* Skidmore
* LeHigh
* SUNY New Paltz
* Colgate
* Boston College
* Franklin and Marshall
* Brandeis
* SUNY Geneseo
* Bard
* Lafayette
* Ithaca

GPA: 3.7 (92)
Sat: M-600 , W-660 , CR-770 (Retaking SAT in October, hoping to raise Math and Writing)
Combined: 2030, or 1370 M/CR
SAT II: Math I and Lit, taking in November

Classes:
I switched schools my sophomore year. At the high school I attended as a freshman, a performing arts school, I was placed in an honors track, and so took honors English and History.
Realizing I wanted more of a focus on academics, and a smaller environment, I switched to my current high school as a sophomore.
At my current high school, they offer no honors classes and only 4 AP classes; AP Bio, AP hem, AP Calc and AP Spanish. I did not take any of the math/science APs because they aren't subject areas I excel in, or have a further interest in. I will be taking Spanish 4 with AP option, however, although Spanish 5 is technically the AP course. I hope that colleges can see that I took advantage of History and English opportunities when I could, but that my current high school simply didn't offer AP or honors classes in them.

Despite the fact that I have an A- average, I am only in the top 30%, because my high school is competitive academically.

English: 4 Years
History: 4 Years
Math: 4 years (Taking Calc this year)
Language: 4 Years (Taking Spanish 4 this year w/ AP option)
Science: 4 Years (Biology, Chem, Environmental Science, Immunology, Physics)

ECs:
-Extremely demanding, professional level Youth Chorus. 3+ rehearsals a week, often a concert every other week or weekend. Have performed at Carnegie Hall and on TV numerous times. Have traveled to Europe and Asia to tour.
-One of 7 editors for my school's Literary Magazine
-Appointed by a teacher to the School Leadership Team
-Will be on Yearbook this coming year

Work:
-Volunteer camp counselor year before Sophomore Year.
-Babysit regularly

Thanks a lot!

Well, I’m not familiar with admissions for all the schools you listed, but I can address a few. You have similar stats to my son when he was applying from H.S. You are in at SUNY New Paltz and Ithaca. Bard, Lehigh, SUNY Geneseo and Bing are all possible depending on the applicant pool - I think they are matches for you.

What are you planning on majoring in? My son went to UMiami out of HS and transferred to New Paltz last year. He loves it there.

I’m sure others will chime who have more knowledge of the other schools on your list.
Good luck!

That was helpful, thanks a lot!
