<p>can someone please chance me for my list of schools that i am applying to? i am interested in journalism/communications and am applying to syracuse ED. any help is appreciated!!</p>

<p>SAT: 700 math, 660 writing, 650 critical reading (2010 combined score)
SAT II: 670 math I, 580 spanish (only took these since i'm applying to BU and its required)
AP: 5 (AP Psych) and 3 (AP Spanish Language)</p>

<p>GPA: 3.7771 (unweighted), 3.9393 (weighted)</p>

<p>EC's:
-Club gymnastics team since 4th grade (competed at state, regional and national levels)
-Features editor for award-winning high school newspaper (end of junior-senior year because only seniors work on the paper)
-Copyeditor for newspaper (junior and senior year)
-Going to be on my high school's broadcast TV news program during senior year (once again only seniors can participate in this)
-Had one of my articles published in a local newspaper
-Key Club (freshman year)
-National Honor Society (junior and senior year)
-Distinguished Honor Roll every marking period of high school thus far
-Altar server at my church since 4th grade
-Participated in CYO events and retreats at my church since 6th grade
-Volunteered in Sandwich Group and Soup Kitchen at my Church since 7th grade
-Volunteered at local YMCA events since 4th grade and on: Healthy Kid's Day, Family Fitness Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, gymnastics classes and birthday parties</p>

<p>Job Experience:
-Babysitting (Red Cross Certified babysitter) since 12 years old
-Teacher's Aide at Summer Faith Formation Camp at my church for the past 4 years
-Gymnastics Instructor at the local YMCA (where I do club gymnastics as well) where I teach preschool and school-aged children as well as run birthday parties for the past 2 years. </p>

<p>PLEASE CHANCE ME FOR THE FOLLOWING SCHOOLS!! (:
-Syracuse ED (Newhouse)
-BU
-Northeastern University
-Ithaca College
-UMass Amherst
-Marist College
-TCNJ</p>

<p>Syracuse is my top choice, and I am going to put the school of arts and sciences as my second choice, so if i don't get into newhouse, do you think i will be able to get into that school and then transfer into newhouse based on my stats? THANK YOU SO MUCH!! (:</p>

<p>You look good for Newhouse ED but if not, you are aware that if u are accepted to arts and science instead, it is not binding?</p>

<p>And w a 3.77 gpa I can’t imagine that if need be, you wouldn’t be able to get a high enough gpa in arts and sci to transfer in to Newhouse. </p>

<p>thanks so much!! and yes i know that it’s not binding if i’m accepted into school of arts & sciences, but i just love syracuse so much that i would try to transfer into newhouse if i wasn’t accepted.</p>

<p>Don’t listen to the people telling you to apply to reaches. You love Syracuse Newhouse, and it’s an excellent J school. You might jeopardize your admission there if you pass up ED.</p>
