Ok, so this is my application status:
- ACT 27 (26 Eng, 35 Math, 21 Reading, 27 Science) ... gonna take it one more time this saturday!
- GPA: 4.98/5.0 scale (that's how my school calculate GPA)
- Class rank: my school is a small private HS so they don't include class rank in my transcript
- Activities: About 310 hours of community services, president of 2 clubs, soccer manager, volunteer for church, choir, animal services, engineering club, math club, NHS,.... overall i have about 15-16 activities and 10-11 community services.
- Took AP Chem, taking AP Calc BC, AP Bio (because i'm international student so all the honor classes i took in my country don't count :(( )
- Essays: have 3 essays, my couselor said it was good, my english teacher said she likes it.
- 2 letter of recommendations, pretty good recommendations, one almost make me cry!!
I really want to get into A&M, although blinn TEAM is also a good option. How many % can i get in?? With my status like that, what is a good ACT score that can help me get in??
Thanks!

I’d say it’s a high match… You have a good chance of getting in!
I think that for this next ACT on Saturday, you should aim for a 31 or higher
Good luck!!!

Bumpp!!! Anyone!!!

TAMU is notoriously hard to get into for non auto admits. Get 30/1300 and you’re fine (auto)

BUMPPPP!!! Is the education at Blinn TEAM good compared to that of A&M???

Nobody else!!!

I think you will definitely get into A&M. Many of my friends got lower ACT scores and got in perfectly fine. Plus you have alot EC

I also found out that A&M put me in 1st qtr…so does it help increase my chance???

Bump!!! Bump!!!

My dad is a graduate of A&M in Physics. He says in his time Blinn was the feeder school for especially pre-meds that struggled with Organic and Biochem. It’s math classes and science classes were reportedly “easy A” compared to A&M campus, so helped many students stay off AP (academic probation). Seems it is more integrated into A&M now, but still likely to be more for struggling students or those needing “leveling” classes. Blinn is where Cam Newton went after getting kicked out of Florida, and went to Auburn the year after. I think he had a 4.0, so judge the difficulty on your own ;)

Now that I know I’m in top 25% will it improve my chance???

Bumpp…bumpp…bumpp!!! Comment???

Yes being in the top 25 increases your chances a lot

I think it looks good for you, but know that Blinn Team is a really good option if you happen to not get in! you can definitely end up an aggie one way or another!

Bump!!! I just wanna hear more comment about my stat!!! Pls!!! Thanks!!!

Bump!!! Bump!!! Bump???

Anyone~???
anybody

You have a really good chance at getting in. Good luck! Get me back please.
