Chance me? Thank you!

Personally I don’t think that I have a shot at all because of my gpa but I’m just wondering because my school’s naviance stats for brandeis acceptances are actually similar to those of mine… anyway, if I do have a shot at all I’m thinking of apply Early Decision Round 1 or Round 2.

UW GPA: 3.38
W GPA: 3.51

SAT: Superscore (if they accept) 2070 (Retaking SAT this Oct)

ECs:
-Secretary and President of French Club
-Vice President Literary Society
-One year of english teaching
-Published 6 articles on school magazine over the course of 2 years
-40 hours community service in Freshman year (at a different high school)
-Around 58 hours of volunteering at a shelter kitchen
-Gay Straight Alliance Member

Gender: Female
Ethnicity: Asian
Intended Major: Computer Science

And if this helps at all, I’m from the Boston Area.

Again the GPA is really low but I’ve had an upward trend and I’ve taken a good amount of APs.

Thank you so much! I’d love to hear feedback and suggestions. :)

Brandeis is actually test optional starting this year. That said, I think your 2070 is a fine score, so you’ll probably want to submit it, though you’ll hopefully improve on your next try. Don’t get intimidated by all these CC posters with their 2300’s.

Should I try to ED…?

Or would I just get rejected if I ED…

I think you are the type of candidate who would be helped by an ED application. Brandeis is one of those schools where “showing interest” is very important and there is no better way to show interest than by applying ED.
