Currently a senior in high school going through the strenuous period of college apps and I was wondering what my chances were if I were to ED to UPenn’s CAS for a possible bio major.

SAT: 760 Math, 700 Writing, 590 CR (1 Sitting- Not Superscored: 2050)
SAT II: Math II: 730, Physics 650 (Low score since I tried to wing it), Taking Bio this weekend
ACT: 34 Composite (1 Sitting) 35 Math, 33 English, 32 Reading, 34 Science, 8 Essay
GPA: Unweighted ~93 Weighted: ~95 (Out of 100 Scale)
AP: U.S History: 4, Psychology: 5, Biology: 4, (Currently taking the following AP Classes during Senior Year: Chemistry, Calculus AB, Macro/Micro Econ, Literature, and Spanish)

Honors/Awards: 1st Place at Regional Chemagination Research Contest at Woodbury College (Long Island Division)

If you’re not being recruited as a fencer, the odds are very low as an Asian male with those test scores. As a senior, presumably you have missed the recruitment window, though @sherpa is the expert on this. What is your US Fencing rating? With which weapon do you compete?

Your awards and ECs are fine, but grades and SATs are most important and both are on the low end for Penn – esp an Asian male from Long Island who will be competing with dozens of other Asians from NY/NJ/Pa. Any chance you can re take your SAT I to bump up the CR score?

What’s your class rank?
