wow your stats and your BACKGROUND are very similar to mine !!! (but your GPA and ECs are a little better than mine :P) can you please tell me after you receive your decision in March/April ?

lol i cant really chance you becuz your stats are very similar to mine.

All your stats look great
SAT could be a bit higher, that would be the only thing pulling you a bit back.
I would still say you have a pretty high chance.

I’m actually not sure of my major- I’ll decide that depending on the college I get in.

I did my TASP at University of Michigan

I really wanted to explain my SAT score but I decided not to. I was told that I was for sure that I was a national merit commended student, but then my counselor told me in June that I should take the SAT to become semi-finalist (I was dumb to not do some of my own research) So I was a walk-on tester without any prep; I wasn’t feeling well that day either, oh well.

I’d say your chances are decent, not great. The test scores are a little patchy, but the extracurriculars are better than many other candidates. A (truly) active person is a lot more valuable to Cornell than someone who can’t say anything except they got an 800 on the SAT Math.

The only thing that looks a little low is your SAT score, but you submitted a very strong ACT so I don’t see why that should be a problem. Otherwise, the rest of your stats look fabulous. I wish you the best of luck!

It definitely sounds like you have a good shot. The fact that you’re not from the United States, stands out to me. You should fit in Cornell well. Good Luck!
