Chance me, thanks!

<p>Hey guys, I'm an Aussie (with Sri Lankan background), attending a top private school in Australia, year 12 in 2011, applying for Fall 2012.</p>

<p>It'd be nice if I could have some opinions on my chances for Princeton - here are a few of my credentials:</p>

<p>Applying for financial aid.</p>

<p>Haven't sat the SAT yet, but completed the online practice one and got 800 M 730 CR 760 W = 2290. Sitting that in May. Sitting SAT II in June (Biology M, Chemistry, Maths II)</p>

<p>APs not offered at my school, nor is IB. </p>

<p>Academic -</p>

<p>2nd overall in Year 11 (out of ~240)</p>

<p>Prize for Year 12 level Biol, Year 12 level Mathematical Methods (semi-advanced year 12 maths course), German, English Language, Physics, Chemistry in my school (for rank 1 within the school cohort)</p>

<p>Victorian Certificate of Education [my school-leaving certificate]</p>

<p>Study scores of 50/50 for Year 12 Mathematical Methods and Year 12 Biology (in year 11) - 50/50 means top 0.21% of the state cohort</p>

<p>Bronze in Australian Maths Olympiad (2009, 2010) and Silver (2011)</p>

<p>1st Place in Uni Melb Schools Maths Competition (2009)</p>

<p>High Distinction + Invite to Summer Scholar School in Biology NQE (2010) [rank 1 in Australia] and Chemistry NQE (2009, 2010) [rank 2 in Australia]</p>

<p>Member of the Australian team for the International Chemistry Olympiad 2011</p>

<p>Sport -</p>

<p>Played cricket for club, played a few games for representative teams</p>

<p>Played cricket, basketball and badminton for school</p>

<p>Athletics - represented school in APS Athletics Finals in year 9, 10 and 11</p>

<p>Prefect - Portfolio in school is "VCE Resources" -> organising peer-run tutorials and lectures for various year 12 subjects, use of Facebook to encourage peer-to-peer learning, currently organising a program for a public school on the fringes of the state</p>

<p>That's a snapshot; do I have a decent chance of being admitted to the above schools?</p>

<p>Update:</p>

<p>SAT II -> 800 Maths Level II, 800 Chemistry, 780 Biology M (well…I didn’t do bio for 6 months and I didn’t cover much of ecology)</p>

<p>So I’m going to sit the SAT I again in December to try and bump up that critical reading score.</p>

<p>It’s very hard to have to give you an idea since you don’t have any standardized test reports (SAT/AP/IB) to report yet.</p>
