bump…

Wow.
Minority, successful nonprofit, good debate… How are you athletically challenged if you have a black belt?
It’s not a clear shot, but you fit the demographic. It really then depends on how well the colleges think they will be able to further your goals and passions. So without the essay, I have no idea. Good luck, though!

Your ECs (in particular, the non-profit thing) are solid! And impressive stats! No one can have guaranteed admission to HYPS, but I can say you have good chances at the other ones! Best of luck!

Well unfortunately, the minority thing works against me for top colleges because I am Indian and therefore considered Asian. That means I’m held to a slightly different standard. But thanks for your reply!

Do you guys think I need to take another subject test. Is the 710 in U.S. History too low?

Based upon your great stats, I think you have excellent chances at any of those top schools. In response to your question, I do believe it is a good idea to retake your SAT II because they are the only outlier in an otherwise perfect application. Good Luck! (Although you don’t really need it)

Mind chancing me?

You have an excellent shot at any of the schools listed. Aside from the fact that your test scores are nearly perfect, your ECs are unique and strong. Make sure you write a good essay.

Please chance back!!
