You’ll get in.

I had roughly the same stats and got into UCSD, UCLA, and NYU. You’re good.

Match.

Impacted major (Bio) - Slight Reach?

A friend of mine was valdictorian (sp?) and he applied to bioeng at UCSD, but only got in as undeclared and got rejected from UCLA and Cal. But he appealed to UCLA and got in (lucky him lol).

So yea, even though your stats are really good, especially those 5’s on the ap tests [:, impacted majors are usually something that can’t be taken for granted. But you still have a really good chance in my opinion.

You’ll get in easy… Though if I were you, I’d try and get the SAT score up and aim for a better college.

^Yeah because UCSD sucks. =/

^I really hope you’re being sarcastic, Kings… ><"

^And I hope askosh is being equally as sarcastic… but I have the feeling they aren’t.

^not saying UCSD is bad, because it is a good college… just merely saying that with her gpa she could get into better if her SAT scores were higher

i’m sure you will get in. you seem a little overqualified

i think UCSD is an awesome school, and especially if u want to major in biology. it’s an impacted major, but i think you’ll still get in.

You will probably get in from everything that I’ve seen. You might want to get your SAT to solidify your chances, but I’m sure you can get in either way. And UCSD does not admit by major. If you apply under an impacted major but aren’t quite qualified, you can still get in under your second major or as undecided.

in (10char)

You’re in. Improve SATs to solidify chances for impacted major

Thank you everyone! I would say that my lack of ECs and low SAT scores are my major weaknesses. :[ UCSD is an amazing school, so it’s my number one on my list. Thanks for the help!

^You don’t want to hear my SAT scores.

^

Haha. XD Then, I’m a little comforted.

BTW, to add to my ECs, I also took Mandarin school on Saturdays for around 10 years, and I took Japanese school for about 3 years. I hope that helps? I think it counts as an EC, hopefully.

My SAT and ACT scores were terrible and I still got. My grades were pretty high and I had a moderate amount of ec’s.

My SAT and ACT scores weren’t too awesome, but I did have a nice GPA…
