oh wait. This school doesn’t read recommendations.

lol

No seriously. You’ll probably get in. On account of your excellent record (and the fact that you’re not applying for FinAid ;D Muhney muhney muuuuhneey!)

lol ty yeah cali needs some money

bump…

hey so update on UC schools
accepted to … UCD, UCSD,UCSB, and UCSC
rejected UCLA

so can I get into UCB … remember no financial aide OOS!!

please just need to know I am freaking out I don’t know where I am going to end up!!

:smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::+1::+1::+1::+1::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray:

Stop freaking out. You got into some very good schools. You can’t go wrong. Yes, you can get into Cal. Will you? Now, that’s another question-wouldn’t we all like to know? A better question is where will you best fit in? Each of these UC’s is unique. You need to ask yourself who you are in relation to where you were accepted. If my D gets into Cal, it is likely she will choose UCSB because it fits her better and she would likely wash out at Cal.

I am from ct and am leaving on a trip soon and wont have time to visit all the school so i am really getting anxious even though I know when the decisions come out

Use your resources from where you are. Check out all the different UC threads here on CC and on other sites. You will notice that what you see posted on one UC board is vastly different from the other UC’s. You start to understand the kinds of people who will be your peers at a given school. Pay attention to that. You will be living in that environment for a long time and it needs to be a good fit for who you are. It’s not just the location of the school that matters-it’s the people you will be living and studying with that makes a huge difference in your education.

cool thanks for the advice  any other opinions?

Bump please!!!

Yep, stop freaking out! Although your scores seem below average on those aspects that Berkeley actually takes into account: grades, test scores, and essays. So… keep your fingers crossed but don’t get your hopes up. Your ECs are average too.

HOWEVER, having said that, your OOS tuition will figure favourably for Cal, so (haha) hopefully that helps!

Didn’t help for ucla and no
Financial aide

bump… PLEASE
