Is it true that Princeton doesn't count your Freshman year of high school because I had a really bad and inconsistant freshman year but I had an excellent Senior,Junior and Sophomore year

It's true.

I am a Freshman at MIT trying to transfer into Princeton but I don't know if they still look at your freshman year of high school

princeton doesn't do transfers. nice try, though.

Please stop trolling the forums, Sauske40.

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/prep-school-admissions/245196-do-i-have-shot-hill-school.html#post3016839%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/prep-school-admissions/245196-do-i-have-shot-hill-school.html#post3016839</a></p>

That thread is from over a year ago, mommykat...

Like theprez said, no transfers at Princeton. D:

But if he's a freshman at MIT, why would he want to know about his chances at Hill (even over a year ago)? Trolls need to get off the Princeton boards.

Yay. this is cool. But my high school works differently, like it gives out it's own diploma although we do take APs and SATs. We don't have econs as a major and what not. But it's the best in my country(singapore). It's a six year program. So its middle sch + high sch combined. Do you still think they'll look at my freshman years??

With due respect to NUSHS' achievements, but how exactly can a school that has been established for ~5 odd years suddenly become the "best" in Singapore?

Only other school which goes with the same system is SAS, i think. And no other school takes APs and SATs so you can't compare to RI and what not.

Oh and also, based on APs, our school is one of the only schools in SEA with every single student getting 5 for AP calculus

So by your narrow definition, shouldn't ACS (I) be the best school in Singapore, since it is the ONLY school taking IB in Singapore and doing EXTREMELY well by international standards? (and i'm not even from ACS)

The person in this thread took the APs, not IB.
I was referring to the college board system.
Yes you can also say ACS(I) is the best school in Singapore, but thats IB.
By the way, i think the raffles schools are better than AC schools.
ACS(I) is not the only school offering IB in Singapore. Although it is best, by grades, yes.
There are 13 schools in Singapore offering IB.

Alrite then, take it that i am being slightly pedantic. Maybe I am just not used to the fact that a newly-established school can suddenly lay claim to being the "best" school in Singapore.

NUSHS is a fantastic school though =)

Wth, your in MIT, the top engineering school in the US but you want to transfer out? Why?
Life isn't about going to the most prestigious school, Gosh!
