I know my EC's are weak.

70% chance of admission.

bump

I have no idea about engineering admissions, but i really dont think your EC’s are that weak. 500+ hours of community service can be extremely useful for backgrounds to writing really good essays

Thanks for the chance.

I’d say its a match to low reach. Your EC’s show commitment.

Sorry I don’t know much about this one!

Your ECs are not weak, but they do not show that you have any interest to pursue a major in engineering. Your sat is decent, and if you could get 3.8 gpa that would be great. I think cue is low reach. Do you have any backups?
Please chance me: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1672761-chance-me-for-stanford-university.html</a>

@Dream0n‌ my backups/other more reasonable colleges would be Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Case Western, and Cal Poly SLO. what would my chances look there? ill chance you.

I’m sorry but I don’t know much about the engineering major. Your back ups are renowned engineering schools and as far as I know, you need a wow factor. Consider starting an “engineering” club or retaking the SAT to get over 2200 to maximize your chances. Thanks for the chance btw.

@Dream0n‌ wait, so ur telling me that i might get rejected from virginia tech? ■■…

No, LOL I really don’t know about the schools, but I think you’ll get into at least 1 or 2. Sorry that I’m not that much of a help.

Besides some in state public universities, you should try Purdue too.

bump

PROB 60 percent shot

Reach. CU is incredibly self-selective, and the fact that you are male with a lower GPA doesn’t help. I think you have a good chance at Cal Poly SLO, but Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech will definitely be harder as an OOS student. They’ll be expensive as well.

I don’t know much about CU but your math scores are excellent. Engineering is a good choice for a major, but an in-state public would give you more money to go there.

SAT score is low, sat 2 is on par, gpa is on par ec’s are weak- high reach
