Sure thing

How the hell are you first generation collge…yet your income is 800k+

Man, these applications are really scaring me! They are giving me and a lot of others a run for our money!
What I see lacking from a lot of these is not depth, but the idea of a central “theme”. Also, I don’t really see any athletics, but the rest of your ECs seem to make up for it by most standards. Best of luck and I would chance your 50% for ED and 25% normal. You should be proud of yourself, you probably have a 2x higher chance than most!

Oh when I said that they were scaring me, I meant that in a good way;)

@2020hind‌ thank you! But what do you mean by a “central theme”? Like what is overall my focus in business? :open_mouth: And omg, hahaha thank you for saying that my chances are higher than most. Sadly, I’m not in a school team, I do play golf but just as a hobby, Idk where to write that down on the applications though.

And it is possible for a lot of first gen college to be in that income bracket if they’re outside the US.

Man, I just saw your thread, dude, you’ll get into one of the Ivys! You’re a freshmen right, just apply to any major and then transfer internally, that’ll be so much easier. And with that stats, you’ll definitely get into one of the Ivys, your stats are scaring me too, so many talented people out there. I feel like my EC lacks the name. No legacy, no internship at a notable place, no SAT score.

I really don’t know how transfer admissions work, but you seem to be a strong student overall. I think your ECs show that your into business, so I think they will like that. You don’t really have to participate in a sport or anything like that if you dont want to, but if it is your hobby, casually mention it in an essay(but bring it up naturally, dont force it).

Well, actually, looking a bit closer, your application does show a theme…now that I think about it. And, I am a high school junior actually.

@2020hind‌ I mean you’ll apply as a freshmen later on. lol, thanks! Idk how it’ll play out since I’m going to be a junior transfer and they say AEM is really selective for their junior transfer

@manas1997‌ Do you think my GPAs are too low? Do you think I have a chance to get into AEM?

Do you guys think I’ll at least get into UCB HAAS?

Cornell- Low Reach
UCB HAAS- High match- Low Reach

Good Luck!!

Cornell is really score centric so I would term that as Low Reach
UCB HAAS is again a Low reach
Pleasee Chancee me back  http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1738791-chance-me-for-chemical-engineering-will-chance-you-back.html#latest

Looks pretty good but your GPA is in the average range, Your Ec’s are more quantity than quality- nothing really stands out as a wow factor other than the fact that youve done a lot. Id say your family income might get you in since youd pay OOS fees
