<p>For reference, they don’t look at your app as “EA deferred”; they just toss you back in the RD pool, there’s no distinction. Whether you consider that beneficial or not is up to you.</p>
<p>Hard to know if you’ll get in, your SAT is on the lower side and your GPA while good is weighted, and without seeing your UW GPA and transcript it is nearly impossible to tell. With upwards of 40k applications, a lot of it is numbers based. Your EC’s are good, though.</p>
<p>I also don’t think the “legacy” you have is gonna have an affect on your decision, it just seems like NEU doesn’t put much weight on that. If your family had donated an incredibly large amount, I’d say you’re gonna be noticed for that and likely admitted, but small amounts annually doesn’t do much for your app; this is true of most any school, I think.</p>
<p>If I’m not mistaken, pharmD is a tough program to get into. I hope I could help, but your app is really on the fence; nobody can say for sure whether or not you’ll be admitted; which is also probably why you got deferred, because there’s no obvious choice. Good luck!</p>
