Chance me to transfer to STERN?? plzz

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I am currently a California Community College Student wanting to transfer to NYU's Stern Business School. Please help me out.</p>

<p>GPA:3.84 currently; hopefully 3.87 at the end of the fall semester; I am in my school's honors program.</p>

<p>Courses Took Stern is looking for:
Calculus 1 (currently taking and acing)
Microeconomics
Macroeconomics
Introduction to Business
Business Law
Financial Accounting
Managerial Accounting
English Reading and Composition
Statistics
I overall have about 92 units completed.</p>

<p>I will take Calculus 2 during spring 2012.</p>

<p>Experience: 3 financial internships: 1 at a financial advisory firm, 1 at an investor relations firm specializing in investment banking, and 1 at Scottrade</p>

<p>Extra Curricular Activities: I started the first Business Economics club at my school.

<p>Looks like you have as fair a chance as any, if not better. I would just be careful, because NYU does not give out good financial aid at all. And I know you might think “Well I will be the one to get good finaid” but let me tell you, you will probably end up getting about $20,000 in scholarships (if you are lucky) and the rest (~$40,000) in loans. No joke. </p>

<p>But if you can deal with the expense, it is a great university! Good luck; I’m sure you will do fine! :)</p>
