I'm taking an ACT in December and from the pratices I like ACT way better than SAT and I'm planning to score 26+ for my goal , I want a 30 for a score.</p>

<p>I think you have a good chance! You’re first generation which will help. Your math score is amazing, I think it can make up for the other scores. You’re also taking challenging classes which looks good. Hmm I think you have a great chance for JMU, VA Tech is pretty solid, Maryland might be ehhhh but it’s possible. And I’m sorry but I don’t know much about GMU. Good luck though!</p>

<p>You might not get into the Engineering program at VT since that’s very competitive and 650 for math isn’t competitive enough of a score on the SAT. But, you’d get into the school nonetheless.</p>
