Chance me too! Please. (So unsure!)

If you were an admissions officer, roughly what estimate would you give me.
I feel like I can do this for everyone else but myself. Thanks!

That's enough for that...

RIGOR: Very difficult courseload
ESSAY: Good, but probably typical
RECS: Should be stellar
INTERVIEW: No worries

I may be leaving something off, and if so, I will add it later.

THANKS!

I'd have to say you're a fairly weak applicant, but that's just me. Who knows, you might get in.

from what I know, you are not a weak applicant AT ALL
in fact very strong, you have the alumni connection as well as minority status (sorry to point it out, but it's true), saludictorian with a 4.0 GPA, take another ACT and see how you do..just ace your interview if you get one and I say you have a good chance

black, alumni = VERY good chance esp with your grades, etc. good luck

in (URM, alumni, class president)

Have fun at Harvard =)

"RIGOR: Very difficult courseload"

difficult is relative... what courses have you taken?

"RECS: Should be stellar"

don't count on that. some teacher are quite deceiving.

"INTERVIEW: No worries"

pretty confident, uh? what if your interviewer were the meanest guy ever?

"Mom is alumni"

i hope you meant ALUMNA...

"Rank 2/470"

pretty good.

Good luck!!!

legacy + black + 2/470 + 30 ACT =

very good chance of acceptance...

Does your mom give money to Harvard? If so, how much each year?

you have black legz!

By difficult, I mean that I have taken 8/11 AP courses offerred at my school. Not that many when put in the scope of the nation, but by far the most difficult secondary school record from any applicant at my school. And yes, I meant that my mom is an alumna, not alumni. (That wasn't even singular... lol)

I'm not sure how much money my mom gives but she does. Does the amount matter?... That's retarded.

Class president for 3 years, plus all those leadership positions...um?

"weak applicant"?

^^ definitely not strong were it not for URM status, no offense to the OP.
As it stands, you have very good chances.

First, I would like to mention that I'm not an expert in the field of college admissions, but I've always been aware of the fact that more experienced chancers of this forum regard "all those leadership positions" as fluffy, superficial, and fairly common among applicants.

Eh maybe it's because it's different per school. For example my school, it'll be pretty difficult to be the class president of 900 people for 3 years along with all those, and etc. I can see where you're coming from I guess.
