Chance Me (Top comp sci schools)

What are my chances at MIT, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, Caltech, Cornell, Michigan (In-state) for computer science?

GPA: 4.6 weighted/3.99 unweighted (1 A- freshman year)
ACT: 36 composite, all subscores, 23 essay
SAT: 1580 (780E, 800M)
SAT II: 800 Math2, 760 Chem
No class rank, but I’m in more advanced classes than anyone else in my high school (class size ~350)

National AP Scholar (Calc BC, US History, Econ Micro, Macro, Lang, Lit, Comp sci, Chem) all 5’s except Micro (4), will take Physics C, Gov, Euro

MMPC just outside the top 100 (mid 140s)

Taking Multivariable Calc and Differential Equations at Oakland University dual enrollment
Only person in the school 1 year advanced in English
Doing independent study in computer science (1 of 2 in the school)

Extracurriculars:
Captain of school FRC team since 2014-15
National Honor Society
Model United Nations (1 year only)
JV skiing (1 year only)
I’ve made a couple of small apps, but no more than 200 downloads on each

I’m just worried that I don’t have enough extracurriculars/internships/volunteering/awards to cut it at a lot of these top schools, even though I think I have the grades and test scores. I hope I’m fine for Michigan, but I would really like to get into somewhere more prestigious.

I can only chance you for Cornell, sorry that was the only one on your list I applied to last year.

First off, your scores are all good enough to have a very decent chance.

You seem to have good experience in Comp Sci and a passion for it, as long you are able to convey in your application organization and essays I think you will be fine. Truth be told, I wrote about being the treasurer on my high school FTC team in my app essay (oh, the nightmares of a low budget).

BTW, are you applying to Cornell Engineering or Arts & Sciences for CS? Personally, I went A&S because I like economics and language alongside CS, just something to consider.

I’m applying to engineering for CS because I am also interested in electrical engineering and maybe mechanical as well, considering getting a double major.
