Hi! I'm back to the chances thread, a few updates!

Other clubs and small community service stuff, not really important. Don't wanna have a list.

I cashier and babysit as jobs to support my family. **Key for me, essay will be based on this.

Hooks:
1st generation and low income family.

My essay is about supporting my family no matter how bad a childhood, I've started it and it's relatively good.

I know my one recommendation will be great, I'm not sure yet who'll write the other.

Any improvements you see is great, thanks!

Bumpity bump

The community service is quite good. Pull up your SATs if you have the time, because you never know…

Everything looks good except your SAT, it’s low for UPenn and Carnegie. But i think if you can get it to 2250+, you’d have a solid shot at those schools!

Alright, thanks! I’m taking the SATs in October. ACT in September and subject tests in November. Hopefully they can go up!

USC Marshall - Match

Georgetown McDonough (EA) - Reach

Carnegie Mellon Tepper - Reach

Upenn Wharton - Impossible

Penn State - Safety

Florida State - Safety

Wake FOREST- Match

Ohio State - Safety

San Diego State - Safety

WashU - Impossible

Okay, thank you!

Penn U and Wash U would be very, very difficult but it’s definitely worth applying. Georgetown may be a bit of a reach but you have a very good chance at the rest of the schools with your SAT. You might want to raise your SAT if you really want to get into some of the reach schools.

Chance back?

USC Marshall - Match

Georgetown McDonough (EA) - Reach

Carnegie Mellon Tepper - Reach

Upenn Wharton - Impossible -> SAT 2200+ -> Reach

Penn State - Safety

Florida State - Safety

Wake FOREST- Match

Ohio State - Safety

San Diego State - Safety

WashU - High Reach -> SAT 2200+ -> Low Reach

Personally I think WashU will be High Reach, not definitely impossible…but yeah, try improving your SAT score. good luck

I raised this sat from a 1740 previously, we can see how well studying goes for the fall then! Thank you!
