<p>The biggest single issue you are going to have is deciding which school to apply early to. HYPS are all SCEA and C&M are EA. Your chances at HYPSM during RD are extremely low simply because the admission rates are in the very low single digits for all of them. It is a pure lottery with lousy odds.</p>
<p>You have extremely impressive academics but you lack the WOW factor that will make an adcom stop and think " I have to admit this student". No national level math or science awards, just a lot of very solid ECs. Nothing wrong with that: just nothing outstanding. Of all the top schools Caltech will be by far your best shot: they are much more stats driven that HYPSM. Also if you apply EA to Caltech, you can also apply EA to MIT and Chicago and have very good chance in getting at least one of these three. If you don’t get in EA you will need to enlarge your list greatly as acceptance rates fall drastically.</p>
<p>^ Good Idea. I would go MIT, CalTech, and UChicago EA. I would bet on you getting into one of them. TBH you dont really get a boost applying to HYPS early. So try to get an ea acceptance in your pocket.</p>
<p>You are too perfect, but HYP will not be impressed. I think your chances are not high. Stanford might like you. Try Chicago, it is a great school.</p>
