Chance me? Transfer to CAS Econ

Hey guys! I’m applying this winter with hopes of being admitted as a Junior for Fall 2018 - class of 2020. To explain my GPA: I took a few dual enrollment courses in high school and got 2 C’s and a D. This is why my GPA has been anchored; however, I have been on dean’s list every semester since graduating HS. I hope my upward trend and EC’s can vouch for me when they look at my app.

Background:
-Out of state transfer to come in as a junior
-asian male

Stats/Essay/Recs:
-GPA: 3.45/4.00 | 3.5/4.0
-Dean’s list x4 semesters
-Presidential scholar x1 semester
-Strong essay
-3 strong letters of rec (one from dean of econ, one from dean of acc, one from former vp of chamber of commerce - currently my professor)

EC’s:
-Founder/President of Finance related club at CC
-Founder/President of Professional Development related club at CC
-Member of stock market club
-Volunteer/Fundraising/Charity work
-Bloomberg Market Concepts Certification

Work/Relevant Experience?
-Current part-time business/data analyst internship at tech. company
-Summer 2017 Financial Analytics internship in London at Bloomberg
-Studied financial markets abroad in London, Summer 2017

What do you guys think? I’m very worried about my GPA being too low - let me know!
