Chance me- Transfer to Georgetown

Hi all,

I am currently a freshman studying Business Information Technology at Virginia Tech. I would like to start by saying I have loved my experience here so far and would recommend Tech to anyone who would listen. I only want to transfer because Georgetown (aside from being a very prestigious school and blah blah blah) has a major that seems handcrafted for me (political economics). I was also considering UVA (I am a resident of Virginia), William and Mary, and Notre Dame, for very similar reasons. I plan on applying to tranfer as a 3rd year, i.e. I would stay here at VT for another full year. Anyways without further ado, my stats.

High School GPA (W): 3.8/4.2 (We had a very strange system)
Class Rank: 27/279 (To save you the easy math, that is top 10% but barely)
SAT: 1320
AP classes: Language, Literature, Human Geography, Physics, US History, US Government, and Comparative Government
Dual Enrollment: Chemistry, Pre-calculus, and Calculus
ECs: Varsity Lacrosse-4 years, Varsity Cross Country and Indoor Track- 3 years (took a break my junior and senior years, respectively), BETA (honors society) club, PR officer of Future Business Leaders of America

College GPA: 3.52
Microeconomics- B+
Calculus II- B
Business Analytics- A
Citizen Leadership- A
Psychology- B

This Semester expected GPA: 3.86
Financial Accounting- A
Quantitative Methods- B+
Macroeconomics- A
Mythology- A
Citizen Leadership-A

ECs: member of the Residential Leadership Community, Phi Alpha Delta (Pre-Law fraternity), and Service Without Borders.

So that is about it. I know it is a long shot, but any feedback is greatly appreciated. Oh and this is my first time on CC, so if I made this too long/not long enough, or really made any other blaring errors, feel free to let me know. Thanks again.
