I know not applying priority was a big mistake but I can’t really help it at this point. Pre-Transfer advising has approx 20 hours transferring over if I get in, so I would be about a semester behind.
Your resume is similar to what mine was when I was accepted for Fall of 2016. Assuming you also have decent SAT scores I can’t see any reason why you wouldn’t get in. Your college GPA is higher than the average for fall semester transfers (average tends to be slightly lower for the Spring which helps you even more). I’d say your high school GPA is your weakest point but mine was quite a bit lower than yours. You shouldn’t lose sleep, and I’d say you have a very good chance and are very competitive. With about a month to go until decisions are released, don’t stress over it. You can’t change anything about your application or resume now, it’s out of your hands. Focus on this semester more than anything else, because should you not get in this time around you’ll need the boost.
thanks! my SAT score was 1770, which below average for UMD. I only took them once.
Chance of applying for spring 2018 from online classes my gpa wasn’t that good due to me doing online classes which I pretty much teach myself
