<p>I think you’ve got a really good chance. Your only potential problem might be that there are other better qualified students applying ED from your school. I don’t know what exactly your competition is but I still think you should be confident. Good luck!</p>

<p>I don’t know a lot about Tufts and their admissions profile, but you look to be a pretty good match. You have high grades and test scores, and your ECs are well-rounded (though perhaps not ‘peak’-y, though there seems to be interest in French). If you really think your essays are fantastic, I think you have a very good chance of getting in!</p>

<p>@araethusa I have a rec from a French teacher, am enrolled in AP French, want to be an IR major, and have a supplemental essay about my grandparents being from France and my love for exploring international cultures so that may work to my advantage. Thanks for everyone’s input so far!</p>

<p>I want to piggback on what @insideandout‌ said about the other applicants for ED at your school. Are their applications stronger than yours? If so, make sure you write amazing essays(which you should do either way haha). Other than that , your scores are great and I think you’ll be a competitive applicant based on Tufts common data set. <p>You definitely have a good shot. None of your stats present a weakness and your ECs are diverse and interesting, albeit a bit unfocused. Having other EDs applying from your school obviously isn’t a good thing, but that’s totally out of your control. </p>

<p>Thanks for chancing me! <3 You are certainly a competitive candidate but Tufts can be a reach even to perfect candidates, but u certainly have a fair shot with good scores etc. P.S. don’t bother writing “white male” as that will offer virtually no advantage whatsoever in the admissions process lol, just saying :-]</p>
