  • Rec 2: 12th grade AP Physics C Teacher (my favorite teacher who is actually classified as a genius, talk with him after class about various topics: physics and non-physics related)
  • Rec 3: Professor at Georgia Tech and former President of the American Chemical Society (worked with her and a graduate student this past summer to conduct my research.)

Essays:

  • My essays were strong and were read by admissions counselors at other universities mostly focusing on my philosophy of money and service as well as my summer experience working in a graduate laboratory.

Hi!! Your whole application is very impressive from what I can garner. What might hurt is that you’re out of state with basically perfect stats, so it comes down to how well you portrayed interest in UMich.

The general consensus is that UMich isn’t a safety for anyone, and they reject many perfect applicants that treat it as a safety. If you showed how much you want to go to UMich, you should be a shoe in!!
