Welcome to CC!
But ouch, that’s a low SAT (and II) for UCB and UCLA. There’s nothing that really stands out, except probably your Eagle Scout. I’ve heard that being an Eagle Scout does wonders for colleges lol, so that’ll probably help.

I’ll say…
UCB & UCLA: Reach
UCSB: Match

[Chance back? :)](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1540120-please-chance-penn-ucs-nyu-dartmouth-etc-ill-chance-back.html)

anyone else?

UCB, UCLA: Reach
UCSB: High Match

Your SAT R and SAT S scores are low for all the schools you mentioned. For the top UCs, aim for 2000+ or 30+ ACT. Good luck!

Impressive GPA, although I do agree that your SAT is lower than the average of those getting admitted to UCB and UCLA.

UCB, UCLA: reach
UCSB: match (if you get a 29 on ACT I’d say it’s a low match)

UCB: reach
UCLA: reach
UCSB: match

You should study for the ACT/SAT and try for a better score?

Got accepted to UCB!! Crazy huh? My essay/app was the thing that really astonished them I guess. The essay was compelling, the application probably helped too (lots of ECs).

Got accepted to UCSB, UCSC, UCSD as well. Only reject was UCLA
