<p>Background: White male living in CA. I want to go into the sciences, particularly Biology.</p>

<p>Weighted GPA = 4.075 (4.0 scale)</p>

<p>Senior schedule: AP Biology, AP Statistics, AP Macroecon/AP gov't and politics, AP English lit, and TA for a science teacher.</p>

<p>Class rank: 23/428</p>

<p>Test Scores:
SAT: 2020 (630 Math, 670 CR, 720 W, essay score of 9).
ACT: 30 (34 English, 28 Math, 30 Reading, 29 Science, essay score of 9).
SAT IIs: 730 in Biology M, 720 in USHistory.
Also got 5 on the AP test for both APUSH and AP Lang/Comp.</p>

<p>Awards:
Human Physiology Department Award
AP English Language/Composition Department Award
Biology Department Award (These awards are chosen by teachers at my school)
AP Scholar Award
National Society of High School Scholars</p>

<p>Activities:
CSF
Service Club (Treasurer)
Middle school music tutor
4 years of marching band
4 years of winter percussion
2 years of lego robotics
Lead guitarist of my own personal band, which wins awards at various music festivals.</p>

<p>For USC I have two solid letters of rec from very intelligent teachers (one from English, one from science) and a very good counselor recommendation too.</p>

<p>Umm this is tough, I can say 50-50 for the other schools beside UCB. For UCB I would say 15-85 chance. But I think you can still get it :). Good luck man</p>

<p>your SAT score is good for the UCs but your weighted GPA is a bit on the low side. Either way, write good essays, and you should be good to go</p>
