I’m getting ready to apply for Fall term 2019 at UCF and I’ve been scared of not gaining admission due to my lower GPA and test scores. Here are my stats:

Cumulative GPA: 3.35
Weighted GPA: 4.21

SAT Score (taking again in October): 1280

Class rank: 309/849

Community service hours: 265

Area of study: Art History

AP classes taken:
AP Lang - 4
AP 2D studio art - 4
AP Human Geo - 3

Dual Enrollment courses (both passed with As):
Art Appreciation
College Algebra

Awards:
Achievement in studio art - 2017
Achievement in AP 2D studio art - 2018

I also have 2 recommendations and I’m submitting an essay.

I think you have a good chance. Get that application in and make sure you are staying on top of your grades and practicing for the SAT- sometimes it can take a while for UCF to make a decision, so anything you can do that will reflect an upward trend is good! Good luck!
