<p>I am a second semester junior right now and is going to school at a competitive high school in Bay Area, California. </p>
<p>Rate my chances for getting into UCI? (I want a chemical engineering major)</p>
<p>SAT: 1970 (Will retake in March, aiming for a 2100+. For now, just assume that 1970 is my final SAT score.)</p>
<p>ACT: 30 (Will retake as well)</p>
<p>SAT 2: Chinese: 760, MathII: 720 (Will retake), Chemistry, Biology, Physics(maybe)
I have not taken the science SAT II's stated above, but I am expecting an 800 for Chem, 750-800 for Bio. Don't know what to expect for physics. </p>
<p>UW UC GPA: 3.77 (Expecting a 4.0 2nd semester Junior year)
W UC GPA: 4.14</p>
<p>AP/ Honors classes: AP Chinese (5), Chemistry Honors, AP Chemistry (currently enrolled), AP Calc AB (currently enrolled) </p>
<p>Senior Year AP/Honors: AP Econ, AP Gov, AP Compsci, AP Calc BC, Physics Honors</p>
<p>Extracurricular (not my strongest point):</p>
<p>Officer for Chinese Club</p>
<p>Member of Key Club, Science and Engineering Club, Chinese National Honor Society, DECA</p>
<p>Volunteer for WCEO (A summer program for kids) as a TA for the past 2 years, and planning to this summer as well.</p>
<p>Played recreational soccer (haha) for the past 6 years</p>
<p>JV Soccer team Sophomore Year</p>
<p>Volunteer at a food bank about twice a week </p>
<p>Competed in the Tech Challenge Sophomore year and completed the challenge, no award though</p>
<p>Aspiring to start a clothing brand (If this happens, it might be the extracurricular that makes me different from others)</p>
