chance me UCLA berkeley and michigan

<p>I am a rising out of state senior so I will be applying in the upcoming months.
I plan to apply for aerospace engineering
my school GPA: 3.83 uw 4.25w (This includes freshman year but I heard UCs don't consider it)</p>

<p>I don't really know how to do my UC gpa so I'll just put my grades for the last two years on here

<p>SAT I: 2060 (710 reading, 660 math, 690 writing---I will do better this upcoming test)
ACT w/ writing: 30 english, 34 reading, 34 math, 27 science, 31 writing/english (once again i didn't prep but I have been since so I will do better)
SAT II: 740 math 2 800 us history 690 physics</p>

<p>AP tests: 5 physics, 5 Us history, 4 English (even though i didnt even take the class), 4 Spanish</p>

<p>Awards:
NHS vice-president, student of the year for: AP spanish, Honors Precalc, and pre-engineering, williams college award, 1 year varsity baseball, mentor, tutor, ambassador, eucharistic minister, 2 year chief editor of a national award winning literary magazine, and I play 3 instruments though I was never in band</p>

<p>UC GPA includes only 10th and 11th grade GPAs, with an extra point each for up to eight semesters of approved honors/AP classes.</p>

<p>Since engineering is really impacted and you’re an out of state student…it’d probably be a bit of a reach to get into UCB and UCLA. You’re more of less a standard slightly above average student when it comes to grades and test scores (if you do a lot better on the tests).</p>

<p>And because good grades and test scores are what almost every applicant who applies has, you’re really going to have to set yourself apart with your essay.</p>

<p>I suggest you raise your SAT grades to at least 730 each to increase your chances especially as an out-of-state applicant.</p>
