I know that my GPA is incredibly low so far, but will these colleges take into consideration the number of AP's and Honors classes that I've taken during those years? Plus hopefully I score somewhere in the 30's on my next ACT, I went from a 24 (fell asleep during one section) to a 28. Subject test scores are going to arrive in 5 days, I'll try and update that.
Do I even have a chance at any of these?

At this point, I’d say UCI is the only realistic one on your list (then again I knew people in hs with a 4.3 who couldn’t get in and who had about 11 APs). Try retaking your ACT and also UC schools pay a huge amount of attention to your personal statement so make it count!

I’d also agree with Dina that UCI would be the safest bet.

would anyone mind chancing me for UCLA, Cal, and Stanford?

@uclalover, ucla and cal are a bit of a reach but assuming you do better on your next SAT you have a chance (I hesitate because your ECs are very common). When it comes to schools like Stanford, you really never know since they’re so selective, I wouldn’t count on it.

Keep in mind the UC system doesn’t do any sort of affirmative action based on race (there’s some law or other that was passed several years ago in CA, I don’t even remember the app asking for my ethnicity). Though the learning disability will definitely help, be sure to talk about any of those factors in your personal statement, as the UC system places a lot of weight on your essays.

Thank you all! Hopefully on my next ACT I can score 30-34, somewhere there. Plus I think I’ve already completed the total semesters of “honors” courses that UCs accept, so I think my GPA might be inflated, which would, no doubt, hurt my chances.
