so i'll just assume that your uc gpa is a 3.8 ish.

in at all, except san diego and la (that is with a 1800 sat at least). get a 2000 or higher for a shot at la and possible admittance to sd.

chance me too. <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/569604-so-last-one-had-too-many-errors-one-s-better.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/569604-so-last-one-had-too-many-errors-one-s-better.html</a></p>

GSW, if his weighted is 3.42, how the hell is his UC gpa 3.8?

Um... I'll assume your UC GPA is 3.42

UCI: Low reach
UCR: Matchish
UCSB: Slight Match
UCLA: Buy yourself something nice with the app fee
UCSD: Reach

Probably in at one of the Cal States, maybe even Fullerton if you're lucky.

Ok... Your GPA is several point somethings lower than even the Riverside admitted average, your SAT scores range from acceptable to several hundred points too low(depending on school in question), your Math II score is abysmal (it's heavily curved. 8 wrong gets you 750ish which places you in less than the 40th percentile), your senior courses are non too rigorous, and most of all you DID virtually nothing in high school in terms of extracurriculars.

well my weighted gpa is similar, and my uc gpa is a 3.8. they calculate the honors/ap/w/e really weird, so i just figured it's in the same ball park.

the weighted gpa at a high school is generally not the same as it is at the uc's

i totally agree with Gryfon, except UCR your in at... they take everyone!

btw i like what you said about UCLA that was funny
