Why a lack of AP classes? Few offered at your HS?

Early on, I was not planning on going into Medical field or even a university in general for that matter. I was set for running my family’s restaurant for the rest of my life, so I saw no meaning in a heavy course load until Junior year, which is when I decided to walk a different path. I wrote all about this in my personal statements. That is my calculated UC Gpa already.
