<p>I applied early to UGA and was deferred. My GPA the way they calculate it is a 3.3, weighted GPA 3.48. SAT is a 2010 superscore and an ACT of 28. 7 AP classes and 5 honors classes. Very competitive small catholic high school. 1st semester senior year grades are a little lower than they should be, so fingers crossed that doesnt heavily impact my chances. Thanks!!!!</p>
<p>I think whats holding you back is your GPA, which at this point, there’s not much you can do about it… your SAT ACT scores are in their range of acceptance and your AP course load is really awesome. However, UGA apparently accepts GPAs that are roughly 3.8 (according to their self reported statistics) so if thats true, then your GPA could hurt you.
