I already got accepted to UMass Lowell.
Intended major: Psychology PreMed
GPA:3.29 with major improvement Junior and Senior year
Sat: 1130 English 590 Math 540

EC: President of Rotary Interact Club (Treasurer Junior year) Lead Attorney for Mock Trial Team (Sophomore, Junior and Senior year) Stage One Drama (Senior)
Stellar letters of recommendations (I hear ,at least, I signed the FERPA)

I come from a pretty competitive public high school in Mass.
Wonderful essay (My English teacher and tutor think so)

Uconn might be a bit of a reach, but the upward trend in your GPA might grab their attention. I highly recommend sending in your ap scores as well to both schools. UMASS Amherst has high test score expectations, as their median score for admission was a 1270- well above the national average. Unfortunately essays and letters of rec don’t matter as much to big state schools, so they may be overlooked. Unfortunately I have to say that both schools may be a reach. U Lowell has a wonderful premed track though- if you don’t get accepted to these schools, I’d highly recommend going there.
