<p>My freshman year I had a 3.2 gpa weighted with 1 honors class</p>

<p>My soph year I had a 3.0 gpa with 1 honors class </p>

<p>[[[[my freshman and soph years I had serious family issues- my mom was in and out of rehab and my dad was having an affair that I knew about the whole time]]]] and I plan on explaining this to colleges through my guidance counselor. </p>

<p>This year I have a 3.6 gpa so far and I plan to keep it up, averaging me at about a 3.3</p>

<p>SAT: 1850 first try (taking it three times) math- 560 writing-630 cr-660</p>

<p>Next year I am taking AP Lang and comp, AP psych, honors philosophy, precalc, photography, drawing and painting, and English 12</p>

<p>I did one year of SDA (student dance association, 3 years of marching band (color guard), 2 years of winter guard</p>

<p>I won a leadership award from marching band my sophomore year </p>

<p>I am also a good writer and I am planning on making my essay awesome obviously- lots of personal experience to work with as far as topics go</p>

<p>I want to double major in English/Secondary Education </p>

<p>I go to UMass. You have better grades than I did and I had a chance on getting into the business school before I decided to change my major. You will almost definitely get in. </p>
