Chance Me: UMD College Park

Right now, I'm only thinking of applying to UMDCP. People are telling me that is is an incredibly ballsy move on my part (and I agree to an extent), but I honestly don't want to go to any other college. Thank you in advance!

I would encourage you to apply to a few schools. You are right in the range for acceptance; however, don’t take that risk. It is good that you are applying EA, if you don’t get an acceptance you will have time to apply to other schools.

You’re gonna easily get in RD, so don’t waste your EA on this school. Keep in mind that your top choice might change over time (even if you don’t think so now), so I would apply to more of a reach school that you also like for EA

It’s pretty much too late for EA for other schools, so I’ll just have to RD other schools.

Other colleges I’ve been looking at recently - what are my chances for these?:
UPenn
GA Tech
VA Tech
JHU

I’d update the thread with the other colleges if I could but I can’t seem to find a button to edit :c

You are overqualified and will easily get in!
Try aiming to higher schools also.

Wait I’m confused why applying to Maryland with those stats is a ballsy move. You’re getting in for sure.
