Essays:
Common app (all 3 schools): moving from OH to NJ because my parents' sacrifice because they wanted me and my brother to have a better education. They had to shut down their business and live apart for 11 years just to prevent us from having to work difficult blue collared jobs like them.

USC supplement: Wanted to major in biology and maybe forensic science because I have always been a "little scientist" with my constant inquisitions since I was young. I wanted to help people whether it be for research or in the courtroom giving my testimony based on the evidence.

All the essays were read and edited by my AP lang teacher and counselor and had a touch of humor and were pouring with pathos. The tone I wrote with was curious, determined, and light hearted.

I applied EA to UMiami and Northeastern and regular decision with scholarship to USC. UMiami is my first choice, but my confidence is a little shaken since I was deferred from Case Western and UIllinois Urbana-Champaign on the same weekend :/ Thanks!

Forgot to add in that I got A’s and B’s sophomore year, mostly B’s junior year, and so far in senior I have all A’s with 1 B.
