Re-take ACT it is low for UNC-Chapel Hill. Are your grades w or uw. PSAT scores?
Any honors/AP/IB courses?
Sports?
OOS is typically harder than IS.
Go to college stats on cc and see what they have for gpa, ACT/SAT and that will help.
It's a great campus!
Do you have a hook?

that GPA is hurtin...... if ur an OOS and aiming for UNC, why not try shooting for the UCs, like UCLA or Cal????

honors:
music concepts 11

sports:
three years jv tennis
varsity tennis 11
varsity soccer 12 (will take it)

my biggest hook is actually a recommendation: *see the famous journalist on famous alum list on the unc website..

are the UCs easier to get into than UNC-Chapel Hill? I thought they were tougher-- because those UC schools are ridiculous, and i mean that in the best way possible

by the way, thanks for getting back to me, this board is packed
