<p>You will find people with numbers “worse” than yours that were accepted and students “better” than yours that were not. UR isn’t just about the numbers, though you need good numbers to be considered.</p>

<p>You can find this info in several places. Look at threads named things like “RD 2017” and the like. The kids and parents are eager to post this info during the process as acceptances/rejections come in. Check out the common data set. This will give you detailed info. </p>
<p>If you really want to get into a school like UR, take the toughest classes offered at your school. Keep your GPAw above a 4.0 and get your standardized test scores in the 97th percentile and above. Develop good relationships with your teachers so you get great LOR’s. Read all you can on writing college essays. Schedule a campus visit.</p>
