About a major surgery I had during the summer going into my Senior Year (spent 5 days in hospital/metal bar in chest). How it changed my life (able to focus/able to breath). Had to sit out the Golf Season due to surgery.</p>

<p>You have a good shot. Your class rank shows that your school is competitive. They will look at your senior schedule as well. I would try retaking the SAT one more time just to boost your chances. Also, send a midyear report of your senior year grades. Your essay will definitely make you stand out. I say you are a mid/high match.</p>

<p>I’m about in the same boat as you but I have 800 of community service hours and lower test scores! I’m out of state so I’m hoping they’ll take me for diversity. I think we both have a shot! Good luck :)</p>
