Recommendations and essays should be solid.

I also want to apply to New York University, University of Virginia, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and University of Florida.

First of all, you do need to get your GPA and more so your SAT score higher. The admission average GPA is 3.85 and mid 50 SAT is 2030-2250 for UMich overall last year. It is likely to be slightly higher as the number of applicants increased 10% again this year.
Second, even with 2200+ and 4.0, it is still hard to be pre-admitted into Ross. However, around half of the students enter in sophomore year. So if you do well in freshmen year at LSA with required courses, you have another chance to get in.
Lastly, check out the NPC first. You don’t want to be surprised by the cost at the end. It is very expensive for oos students unless you are the top of the top that receive one of the significant scholarships. Otherwise, even for the lucky dozens with the LSA scholarship of $20k/year, you still need to come up with $35k per year. So make sure if it is affordable to you before considering application.
