Chance Me: University of Notre Dame

Hey everyone, I'm a senior and want to know my chances of getting into Notre Dame

SAT: 630 Critical Reading, 800 Math, 780 French subject test
GPA: unweighted - 4.0 weighted - 4.3
Class Rank: 6/371
I've taken 6 AP classes, 2 dual enrollment classes, 10 honors classes, and two classes on a college campus

Activities: President of Habitat for Humanity, executive for Riley Dance Marathon, group leader for Student Athletic Board, French Club, International Club, Math League, Cougar Leader, Executive for Champions Together, NHS, junior advisory committee member, 4 year varsity tennis player

Awards: Four year honor roll, AP Scholar, tennis coaches award, world history student of the year, high school cupcake war and chili cook off champion

Participated in a six-week total immersion program in France

Also, my dad graduated from Notre Dame so I'm a legacy

Thanks!

Notre Dame: Reach (legacy makes up for low CR)

French/IR major?

I’d say you have about a 15% chance RD. If you really swing the essays and manage good recs you could get in.

Being a legacy should help. Might look at Holy Cross-smaller version of ND. Holy Cross has nice campus 1 hour from Boston and HC has strong school spirit. HC also meets 100% demonstrated financial need.

I think you actually have a decent chance of getting in. Although a 1430 is slightly below their average, your grades/class rank and legacy status will be a big boost.
