Having difficulty hammering out the college list...here's a quick rundown, open for suggestions that are good academic fits:

MD resident
3.9 UW/4.54 W

Forthcoming SAT IIs

I play jazz, horseback ride, run & devote a considerable amount of time to all activities. I also had a 16 hr/week summer internship with a business newspaper during the summer, for which I conducted interviews/wrote published articles/etc.

My recs are from the same subject, different teachers (one history/one english; however, it is a special combined class). Weird, but circumstances prevented more balance here. Hopefully this won't hurt me too much?

Essay will be excellent.

Interested in: journalism

Undershooting, overshooting, just right? Let me know...

Haha, yeah, I am pretty confident about my chances at the honors program at Maryland. I'm a legacy, too, so...

I would be really happy there, but would still love to go away from home...CP is like my second house. I know the campus like the back of my hand & the library even better, so it would be great to hear what you all think my chances are at some of the more selective OOS places...

Um. I just have to say - we got the same SAT score, like by section. Awesome, man. Hey, are you worried about your math score? I signed up to retake them in October with hopes of getting the math score above 700, but was that stupid? Will it make that much of a difference?

I did, too. That's exactly what I'm wondering...in fact, I kinda think I was almost lucky with the 680 and hope I don't go down, haha. If we can pull it up it'll look good :).
