Chance me USA and Canada - will chance back :)

I’m an international student applying to UBC, UofT, and McGill in Canada and Columbia, Cornell, Chicago, Calpoly, UPenn, NYU in US, along with several other countries. I’m doing a joint American Diploma and a full IB diploma.

GPA: 3.55
SAT: M:790 CR:690 W:650
SAT 2: Physics:700 Math2:720
IB predicted: 32
EC’s: Collegiate Model UN, Varsity and Club soccer (almost got a scholarship but got injured), national level musician, licensed diver, started an online on-demand tutoring service in school, internship in an admissions agency, a shitton of community service, organized the first battle of bands in my country, peer tutoring

Subjects: English, Biology, Psychology at SL and Arabic, Physics and Math at HL

It sucks that my school follows an American Diploma scale as in an A starts from an 85 and 60 is a D. So if I get a 59 in my Math HL final it’s a 5, but counts as an F in my report. Also my predicted was a 39/45 before our new principal decided all teachers need to lower their predictions cause why not. And they refuse to have teachers reevaluate predictions by December which is extremely unfair especially that the grades AREN’T EVEN BASED ON EXAMS BUT THE TEACHER’S OPINION. Now I can’tapply to half my original list because I can’t possibly send these predicteds.

Do I need to include the predicted grades for these Unis? Thanks a million

UBC-accept
UofT- accept
McGill - accept
Columbia- deny
Cornell- deny
Chicago- deny
Calpoly- accept/waitlist/deny (this school throws results all over the board so its almost impossible to know)
UPenn- deny
NYU- waitlist/accept

I have no idea what predictions u are talking about
Also, tried to get an idea of some of the Canadian universities; but may not be 100% valid

You have a shot at Cal Poly SLO, UBC, UoT and McGill unless you’re applying for Engineering.
The others aren’t likely but your EC’s are strong. If you’re full pay (ie., your parents can pay for your schooling), you should get into one or two of NYU.
Apply to other colleges though.

Hopefully your attitude towards your college professors will be better than your attitude toward your secondary school teachers or you will be a negative on their freshman retention stats.
